Our Mission
Our mission statement is important to us, because it is an external extension of our hearts. It is who we are. Below, you will find our mission statement along with our business philosophy and why our safe and nurturing environment plays a major role in our ASET Academy community.
Mission Statement: ASET Academy is built upon the foundation of helping to strengthen communities by providing opportunities to support the dreams of our youth by unlocking their potential while contributing to the professional advancement of the arts; to actively serve, and enrich the lives of others.
Our Philosophy
We believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. It is our desire to help students meet their full potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas.
In our company, we believe that practice does not make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect. In saying this, excellence is a goal our company reaches toward continuously. As we remind ourselves of this everyday, we pass this on to our staff and students. Performance is a key to excellence. What one puts out is an external viewing of what they have learned. We help mentor the students by prepping them through the arts, through their schoolwork, and on a personal level. Letting them know that their output always should be a representation of their input, the key to excellence lies within. Excellence is a blend of work ethic, dedication, integrity, accountability, and responsibility. This is what we live by.

Our Environment
There are three elements that The Academy of Performing Arts believes are conducive to establishing such a well-oriented and safe environment:
(1) The teachers/instructors acting as a guide and not a crutch,
(2) Allowing the child's natural curiosity to direct his/her learning, and
(3) Promoting respect for all things and all people
The Academy of Performing Arts believes that each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world. ASET helps children to develop their potential by believing in them as capable individuals. We assist children in discovering who they are, so they can express their own opinions and nurture their own ideas. ASET has a vision of a world where people learn to respect, accept, and embrace the differences between other, as the core of what makes life so fascinating. This is our environment and ASET will enforce and continue to promote this environment throughout our community.
