WELCOME TO THE GLEE CLUB!

THE GLEE CLUB is an extension of our Performing Arts Academy. The Glee Club strives to build community, raise self-confidence, and develop professionalism in youth through hands-on, contemporary music and performing arts instruction. One of our objectives for our After school program is to have our bi-annual performances at the end of each semester. All students must plan to participate.
Program Description: 
A modern approach to traditional elements of music training, The Glee Club combines vocal technique, music composition and theory, acapella singing, and choreography to provide youth with holistic and cutting-edge music instruction. Through performance, students will learn about song form, how acapella arrangements are built, music notation, and even songwriting. 
The major components of the program are:

1.) Performing Arts Instruction/Enrichment Activities - Professional and non-tradition techniques within the performing arts. Enrichment classes are enhancement classes to broaden the horizon/scope of the children.
2.) Healthy Snack/Nutrition Education to promote healthy lifestyles and combat obesity; 
3.) Life skills are integrated throughout all phases of the program;

Tuition and Pricing Information

Tuition - All payments are due one week prior to student participating in the program!

After Care only:                $40 per week
Before and After Care:     $60 per week
Before Care only:             $30 per week

MNPS Half Day:               $15 per day
MNPS Full Day:               $20 per day

Fees:
                                 Registration fee :             $25 (one-time, non refundable fee)
                                                           Costume fee:               $50 (Due October 1 - able to make payment                                                          arrangements)

The 2nd student per household will receive a 20% discount. 
The 3rd student per household will receive a 25% discount.

FAQ
What if my child is not a singer?
Though everyone in the Glee Club must participate in at least group singing, we strive to identify each student’s natural talents and use them as pillars to ease them into a singing environment. For instance, a student who has years of dancing experience, but is self-conscious about singing will be given a leadership role as a choreographer. A student interested in technology can be a leader when recording or preparing for the showcase. A writer can write a powerful monologue that sets up a group singing performance. Our goal is to embrace the individuality of each artist in our group and help them develop the humility needed to work on what feels vulnerable. We strongly believe that helping children overcome artistic fears will help set them up for a happier, fuller life.
